Photoplay August 1950-1M
The August 1950 issue of Photoplay magazine included a question about Ben in the "Readers Inc." letters column, and a picture and mention of Ben (and Harry Carey, Jr.) in an article entitled "Choose Your Star" which published photos and brief profiles of "rising personalities." The readers were supposed to send in their votes on the young actor and actress they most thought would achieve stardom, and the results were published in the November 1950 issue.
